The Cost of Living High

Robert Michael Morris is the co-founder and executive producer of Map Dot Productions. His love for filmmaking began with an internship at a college television station where he learned the ins and outs of telling stories with a video camera. He went on to find success in the North Carolina Television Industry producing content for a local television station and eventually producing all original content for Map Dot Productions. The Cost of Living High is his first full length film. It is a documentary discussing the current opioid crisis and how a community can come together to save lives. The idea for the film stemmed from his own battle with addiction. A battle that he fought and came out on the other side. His goal with the film is to provide help through knowledge and inspiration to addicts and their families.
